This mural is part of the ACE2021 (Artist Community Engagement) Project at the Australian Open Tennis Tournament in Melbourne.
Measuring approximately 200m in length this mural is my longest horizontal artwork to date and combines three sections; the first ‘hero’ wall as a feature to the AO’s Premium Experience marque and entrance; which continues into a double sided walkway leading to the Rod Laver Arena.
It represents the flow and energy of nature as an expressive interpretation of the elements air, wind, water and fire. It is inspired by a cumulative response to his travels throughout coastal landscapes in Australia and Hawai’i and a continual exploration of colour, movement and abstraction.
